TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A local woman’s world was turned upside down earlier this year after what seemed like a relatively simple accident turned into a long and painful road to recovery. And after the initial injury, she was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, that has kept her from doing most of the things she loves.
Life changed for Stephanie Baez after a simple walk with her husband, sister and their dogs. Since then, she’s undergone several surgeries. She’s now focused on getting specialized treatment at a clinic that focuses on complex regional pain syndrome or CRPS.
