Oh my gosh I have no idea how to explain all the wonderful things Spero has done for me.
Hi! My name is Ariella and I am 22. Three years ago, I broke my foot and quickly after developed CRPS in my left foot. Over the years, the pain began to spread up my leg and into my hip. And then it jumped to my left hand and up my arm. And then last year, I started having fainting spells due to POTS and developed Tourette’s which me nor anyone in my family had had any issues with before. I knew that I had to do something fast and a spinal cord stimulator would not fix all of my health issues.
Then I found Spero. Coming here was the best thing I ever did for myself. After 19 weeks, I am now in complete remission from CRPS and Pots. I can’t say that the treatments are easy to do and Spero does not guarantee remission. But they certainly try their hardest. But the pain you might be having right now is much worse than the treatments. And the pain and discomfort that some of the treatments cause is absolutely worth it. Before Spero, I was fainting a dozen times a day, I had to drop out of college cause I became completely bed-ridden due to the fatigue. I was also in and out of crutches all the time. Now I can run and swim with no CRPS pain. I can now read again because of the fatigue I would get after reading for too long was so bad that I would lose my vision and become dizzy. I can now go on walks in nature without feeling like I’m going to pass out from the heat.
All of the staff and doctors here are unlike anywhere you’ve been before, that I can promise you. They listened to all of my concerns and they were always doing their best to make me feel as good as I could. They never once said that my health issues was in my head or that I was making it up. Now I still have a couple of other health issues such as EDS and PCOS, but those things do not stop me from living my life like CRPS and Pots did.
If you are thinking of coming here, I will tell you that I never felt fully ready to come. To completely move across the country for a clinic that hardly anyone has heard of was overwhelming for me. But in the end, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. If there is anyway you can get the money to come, I promise you will not regret it. Thank you so much Spero. I will forever be grateful for everything you did for me. And a piece of me will always be part of this little soul clinic in Fayetteville AR.
