The Process

Regardless of how long you’ve experienced chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and post-covid symptoms, when you were diagnosed with CRPS or Covid-19, how you’ve been treated before, whether you got diagnosed with CRPS after the covid vaccine or before getting vaccinated, it is possible to thrive again.

You are not broken beyond repair. Your body is amazing and capable of healing! Our treatment process is not focused on managing nor suppressing pain. We do not feel like that approach is a permanent sustainable solution. The goal of our treatment is to rehabilitate the Central Nervous System, allowing the body to heal from within.

If you look at The Spero Clinic’s gallery below, you will see many images of people “ringing the bell”. This is a tradition where my patients and staff gather when a patient graduates to their satisfaction. In most cases, that means that my patients are leaving my clinic pain-free.

How Does Our System Work for CRPS or Post-Covid Conditions (Vaccine or Not)?

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Often referred to as the “suicide disease,” CRPS is a condition associated with the imbalance and malfunction of the autonomic nervous system. At The Spero Clinic, our team is passionate about getting to the root cause of CRPS and treating the body from the inside out.

We have found that the most effective approach to treating the imbalance caused by Severe CRPS is to treat and strengthen the central nervous system from within. This will allow the body to heal itself.

With the appropriate support, it is our experience that the body is capable of healing Long COVID.

Long COVID increasingly appears to be connected to neurologic damage, and its most disabling symptoms are neurological (for example, cognitive dysfunction, pain, and autonomic nerve dysfunction.)

Outpatient Program

Our outpatient program is a fourteen-week, intense program combining many different technologies, therapies and rehabilitation all designed to assist the central nervous system in healing from within.
We utilize many approaches, which include:

  • Blood work analysis and targeted supplementation
  • Vagus nerve stimulation
  • Various methods and technologies that decrease inflammation and stimulate healing
  • Nervous system rehabilitation

Long COVID

Also known as Post-COVID Conditions, Long-haul COVID, and Post-acute COVID-19, Long-term effects of COVID, and Chronic COVID.

Long COVID is essentially an umbrella term which has been adopted across the world as a reference to the symptoms and clinical signs that remain unresolved after 12 weeks or longer post-COVID.

As of 2023, about 65 million people worldwide suffer/suffered from Long COVID.

There are more than 200 symptoms associated with Long COVID, including nerve pain, pseudo seizures, debilitating fatigue, brain fog, depression, and memory loss.

Long COVID is increasingly looking like a neurologic disease, and therefore, when attempting to heal it, you must heal the central nervous system first. This is why our Neurologic Rehabilitation program is proving successful for many patients who suffer from stubborn Long COVID.

We don't yet know which children will develop Long COVID.

Early Data indicates that those who fall into the following groups appear to have increased risk factors:

  • Female
  • Atopy - eczema, asthma, hay fever.
  • Allergy to animals / cats
  • Previous Post Viral Fatigue
  • Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS)
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there CRPS & Long COVID Clinics close to me?:

At this time, the only place in the world that offers our patented system is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. For this reason, most of our patients travel to our clinic to enter our program. Our system is very complex and our staff undergoes rigorous training. While our long-term vision involves other locations, we are currently focused on expanding our existing location only.

How do I know if your CRPS & Long COVID Treatment Program can help me?:

We understand that many people who turn to us for help have been disappointed many times before, and therefore, we try to do everything in our power to ensure that our center is a good fit for you. The only way to know for sure whether your body will respond to our system is to physically start our program. Most of our patients see changes within weeks, not months. While we cannot guarantee a successful outcome for anyone, the number of people that have achieved remission in our clinic is unheard of.

What if I've been sick too long?:

We do not find that the length of time that you have suffered will affect your outcome adversely. We have had successful outcomes in patients who have suffered from chronic pain for years.

What is your success rate treating CRPS, Long COVID or other conditions?:

While we cannot guarantee any kind of specific success rate, we see many success stories and we try to share that on social media as often as possible. The definition of success is different for every person. Some people experience complete remission and some people find that it is now possible to lead a fairly normal life with manageable pain levels.

Our overall success rate is 84.4%*.
This is calculated using three metrics reported by patients upon completing our program:
1. From 0-100%, how much has a patient’s pain decreased?
2. From 0-100%, how much more functional is the patient?
3. From 0-100%, how much better does the patient feel?
These numbers are then averaged out at the end of each year, giving us our success rate.

You can greatly increase your chances of a successful outcome by working hard, having a healing attitude, and following our treatment plan as prescribed.
